happiness lies
in the branding
of emotions
that oftentimes
remained wrapped up
until weekends
or holidays;
happiness lies
in remembrances
and forgivenesses
and in reminding
each other
how you really feel
which becomes
impotent over time
and is rarely
believed;
happiness lies
inside each of us,
a state-of-mind
contingent upon
ourselves,
not upon our partners
or any other
acquired assets.
