here we are
on opposite sides
of emotions,
seldom expressed,
but often denied;
in our presence
we tease
with the eyes
and smiles;
seduce,
with our body
movements,
luring in future
contact
while,
preventing
intimacy desire
by both
but not demanded,
at least,
not yet;
still,
we both know
soon
it will be.
