Accountability

we all eventually
reach the age
where
reality of wisdom
and the price
we pay is
evident and visible;
but,
retrospection seldom
occurs as it is
too painful for
the mental awareness
of who
we have become
or need to be,
seeking forgiveness
without paying
the price of
standing beside
the victims
and families that
our decisions
always harm.
