at this age
thinking
life is just a
family vacation
to the seashore
and
dinner with friends;
how innocent
we are
at this age
when
we see death
and perceive it
to be someone else;
how innocent
we are
at this age
in our minds
before
being molded
but mentors
with
cunning and deceit;
how innocent
we are
at this age
with
limited expectations
and perceptions
and experiences
and too amazed
to be fooled.
