Without Vending

what is a hotel
without vending
on each floor
and room service
must be called for
a simple diet coke
and I wonder if
this is a Northern thing
or a rich thing
or a
rich Northern thing

because
down South we
travel with quarters
for our anytime
diet coke needs
since there is
always vending
somewhere
on one of the floors
and sometimes
on them all.
