Misunderstood Again

No one knows what I mean and

neither do I as I seem to fade

in and out of reality and

in and out of the kind of grace

that was once shared openly

and freely if only this or that

and I knew not which to do

or should both be done as

some sort of sacrifice...

and then there was this light

replacing darkness which

came and went anyway

but no complaining was done

and the dark replaced light

and done repeatedly

for several days and nights

until I understood and was

forgiven or so I thought but then

no one knows what I mean

and sad as it is, nor do I.
