freely in the court square
once the currents of
turmoil have calmed;
but, everyone knows
or should know
that the cause is
far from won; and,
those who have walked
in my shoes will
"see it like it is"
not how it is or will be,
once the currents and
tides roll again and
wash clean the blood
of my brothers and
all their memories.
