Atlantic Ocean Waves

mesmerized,

by the rolling waves

never ending

attempt to reach me,

I sit for hours,

watching...

hat on head

in a chair

under an umbrella

away from the sun

and protected...

fearless,

in my actions

and

futile observations

but

cannot leave

for the 

cool comforts

of the room,

as my 

mind expands

further and

further

with each

crashing

blow.
