Louder Than Words

a new day
unfolds,
leaving behind
the night
of the old one;
and,
providing
hopeful despair

that in
the new one,
we can make
amends
for all we did
wrong and
all we did not
do at all
that we may
be whole again;
salvation by
words, not
actions is our
M...  O...
or, so it seems
to foreign
observers who,
equate actions
with beliefs
as it is in their
cultures and has
been for years;
we are ever so
generous
with our words
that sometimes
we forget to
act upon them.
