Still LIfe

there are no heroes
anymore,
only those who do
special things
that gain attention
of the media
and about whom
we sing;
no one lives in

anonymous
truth
and,
no one dwells on
fabricated lies,
since life
specializes;
hunter's traps
into which we step
each day,
casts doubts on
survival,
but
with struggling
remorse,
we move forward
finding no
carrot...
only death.
