my life is more complicated
than it was years ago and I
am, in part, to blame for it
since there is very little I
can do to say no and when
I do it is a marvel of self-
restraint and I always wish
I had more than I currently
have but the resources are
not there to back me up.
II.
I ramble on in the hopes
that one day I will write
the classic poem that
everyone in school reads
and studies knowing that
their comments will not
always be that positive.
