commonalities to yesterday and
the day before... months and years
going back to the very beginning
when there was nothing but a void;
in this nothingness were the seeds
of creation... tiny sparks of life
filaments of energy... vibrating
this way and that way... having
no place to go in particular nor
any need or desire to get there...
pointless and without direction they
provided us with substance and life
and in return we multiplied and grew,
we became this and that and imagined
all that we could know at the time;
we were the victims of evolution
not thee cause of it as we mutated
into that which we are today... and,
as we explore and categorize our early
beginnings, we find that all our labels
previously used for this or that, don't apply...
we are not enlightened... we are the source
of and for the enlightenment as we
learn and retain the essence of our lives,
insulating ourselves from those who
were before and offering gratitude that
we are here and have finally received
the opportunity to experience it all.
