you act indifferently
not caring if you speak the truth or not,
we hold you in contempt
for your actions as you do for mine,
life revolves around the reality of what we see
not the illusion with which we
have been confronted... as it appears
to be easier to spin positively,
and I wonder if that is a good place
for us to be... holding our breath to see if
the truth catches up to us... and when
it does we downplay it as if it is
ever so inconsequential...
and yet, we center out attention on
what we are told not what we see and
that approach seems to bother me.
