Cooling Off

symmetrically curved waves
parallel shorelines,
surfer's delight
foaming like rabid dogs
crawling towards the sand,
assaulting the rocks
strewn everywhere;

a marine green color
the water is
not reflecting the
blue sky above
as it pushes
and prods
the swarms of people
cooling off;

dark skinned beauties
frolic like cattle
not caring about
damage but destiny,
desired not earned
not knowing death
only the life
afforded them as
little bundles of joy
received at birth;

the sun challenges
its domain with the
rain and clouds
loaded with moisture
until like a bladder,
can hold no more
drenching us all with
it colorless gold.
