our thoughts are never similar
yet we are together as if we
are united in every way possible;
we live in separate ideologies
pray in separate affiliations
will die in separate rooms and
be buried in separate domains;
we are uniquely qualified to be
who we are and who we are not,
knowing that it is not about us
but the life we gave another so
life could perpetuate itself...
