on the morning
of the day
we were one
and the world
showed
its appreciation
we became
synonymous
of life
in between
hope and despair
and all the
feelings therein
as we lived
like we had
a tomorrow
and died
like we had
a yesterday
as life
in the middle
is safe
but cruel.
