The old will be forgotten and replaced
By those with vision nonetheless and
Our futures hold no such compliance with any such attitudes
That we should go searching for what's lost
As lost it should remain forever,
As looking back is not what we do or should have done
But that which was always done before while
History has never actually repeated itself since
Progress always holds new versions of the old
And forecasts are for fools with little else to do.
