she wanted to feel

him close to her, their  naked

flesh gently touching.

2.

perspiration from

their bodies sealed the lovers

forever as one.

3.

her body was as

young as her desires were old

giving him it all.

they were restless and

not as old as they felt nor

as young as wanting.

5.

she seemed to be called

to the journey soaring high

and into the sun.

6.

against the window he sat

arms outstretched along the

back of the booth, a blue

jean jacket fit loosely around

his dark shoulders...  and he

had a farmer's face and posture,

a troubled look and educated eyes,

he had seen the best of the worst

always hoping for something a

little better...  he was an intriguing

sort of individual whose reflection

would have compared to any

of them in our art gallery now.

any parade is

well suited for the early

morning before light.

8.

in my dreams you were

placed in images, colors

pleasing to the mind.

9.

we are a function

of our losses and truth is

something to ignore.

10.

how fragile is the

sunlight that we can reflect

it with a mirror.
